One of the best things about being a writer is getting to know other Creative Writers on a deeper level. So let me share a little about myself.

HI, I'M Heather


I have been writing since I first learned my alphabet and I fell in love with stories and books way before that.

I love the magic in a good story, the thrill of a new world, and the power of words!

MY STORY

I wrote my first full story at 5 years of age in school.
I have a clear memory of the teacher asking if I had copied it from a book.
'Henrietta the Spider' . That's where it started.

I never did take my English Teachers advice and stick to being a writer. I was too 'practical' for that!

I have used my writing skill in other ways. I was a developer and leader in IT Consultancy for too many years to mention and now focus on UX writing and content creation. 


I am also a certified business and life coach and trainer of NLP, personal development, coaching, Intuitive creativity and tech.
I have a good background in online/digital marketing and content creation and am honing my skills with a range of additional courses, the current being Copywriting.
 

 

WHY THE CREATIVE WRITING TIPS CLUB?

I created a Creative Writing Group on Facebook that grew naturally to 9000+ members (without promotion)!
A huge Surprise!

I decided that I want to offer writers a safe, private space and a chance to  learn, stretch themselves, support each other, create a writing habit they love and have some fun while doing it. 

I look forward to meeting you in the community soon!

There is only one you, and writing is a great way to uncover and express who you are and who you really want to be deep down.

I believe your writing and your story is meant to be shared, otherwise you wouldn't be drawn to writing.
I believe every piece of writing has the heartbeat of its author within it.
